An oil change is only simple if the right oil goes in. Modern engines — and every diesel — specify a viscosity and an oil standard, and the wrong one affects timing components, turbo bearings and emissions hardware.
The other half of the value is the look around while the vehicle is up. Leaks, worn belts, a cracked hose, a tyre going down on the inside edge — these are cheap when caught and expensive when they are not.
You get told what we saw. Nothing gets added to the bill without you approving it first.
