A check engine light is a starting point, not an answer. We test the system the code points at and find the actual fault before anyone spends money on parts.
What proper diagnostics means
A trouble code tells you which circuit reported a problem — not which part failed. A code about an oxygen sensor is just as likely to be an exhaust leak, a wiring fault or a vacuum leak upstream of it.
Parts-swapping is what happens when nobody tests. It is also how people end up paying three times for one fault.
We pull the codes, read live data, then test the circuit or component directly. You get told what failed, how we know, and what it takes to fix it — before the repair is approved.
What we actually do
- Full code scan including manufacturer-specific and pending codes.
- Live data and freeze frame reviewed, not just the code number.
- Direct testing of the suspected circuit, sensor or mechanical system.
- Drivability, electrical and intermittent faults chased down properly.
- A written explanation of the fault and the repair before you approve it.
