Diesel tuning

Power, towing manners and drivability on Cummins, Duramax and Power Stroke trucks — tuned on our dyno and set up for how you actually use the truck.

What diesel tuning is

A diesel tune changes how much fuel is delivered, when it is delivered and how the turbo behaves. Done properly, it wakes the truck up, smooths shifts and can make it far more pleasant to tow with.

Done badly, it makes heat, smoke and expensive damage. Diesel has less margin for error than gas — the transmission, the EGTs and the head studs all care about what the tuner asked for.

That is why we tune diesel on the dyno with the truck under load, and why we ask how you use the truck before we write anything.

What we actually do

  • Tuning matched to how the truck is used — daily driving, towing heavy, or both.
  • Exhaust gas temperature and transmission behaviour watched through every pull.
  • Turbo, fueling and timing set for your hardware, not a generic package.
  • Existing tunes checked and corrected when someone else got it wrong.
  • Supporting hardware discussed honestly before you spend money on it.

When to bring the truck in

  • It feels flat towing or climbing
  • Exhaust temperatures climb higher than they should
  • Shifts are harsh, lazy or hunting
  • You added an intake, exhaust or bigger turbo
  • A previous tune left it smoky or rough
  • You want more power without cooking the truck
